HCL Traveler Companion 12.0.6

HCL Traveler Companion provides HCL Domino® mail extensions specifically designed for users synchronizing their Domino mail via Traveler. This application enhances the functionality of Domino mail on iPhone devices, offering additional capabilities for existing Traveler users.

For those seeking a mobile solution to access Domino-encrypted email without relying on a laptop, Traveler Companion is a suitable choice. Encrypted messages appear in the inbox as a unique, secure link. After entering the Traveler password, users can view their emails on an iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch, with the added assurance that no decrypted emails remain on the device after exiting the application, thus safeguarding sensitive corporate information.

The Companion application also facilitates the sending of encrypted emails and allows users to read and respond to secure messages, including those marked "do not copy" or containing sensitive attachments.

In addition, users can utilize Companion to update their Out of Office settings, which is particularly useful for notifying colleagues about vacation plans. Please note that Traveler server version 9.0.0.1 or higher is required for this functionality.

Traveler Companion is compatible with the MobileIron® mobile device management environment. Organizations using MobileIron can securely access their Traveler server while ensuring compliance with applicable device and mobile application security policies.

To get started with the Companion application, users need to install it and refer to the included Help documentation for configuration with their existing Traveler server. For organizations utilizing MobileIron, automatic configuration is also an option.

Before proceeding with this application, it is advisable to consult with your Traveler administrator. The Traveler server must be running version 9.0.1.3 or greater to support this application, with version 11.0.0.0 or higher recommended for optimal feature use.
